Project Description: Survey of existing conditions of the facades of City Hall in San Antonio, Texas to provide recommendations for repair and stabilization the deterioration due to weather and airborne acidic influences. The investigation included research of the building history, review of existing documents and photographic documentation of the present condition of the facades. Recommendations for repair approach, scope and probable cost for required restorations.

Construction Documents for repair and replacement of all deteriorated stone. Construction processes included stone cleaning, stone repointing, repair and replacement of existing windows, repainting of doors and fire escapes, installation of metal flashing and scuppers to prevent future water damage.

Coordination with the San Antonio Conservation Society and the Texas Historic Commission.
