Project Description: Redevelopment plan of La Villita Historic Complex, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Project included site development, landscape design including stone pavers and water features; roof replacement, mechanical-electrical renovations and interior finish-out for tenant lease space for use as gift shops, art galleries and restaurants. Miscellaneous street furniture, lighting and information kiosks as well as directional signage. Displacing and relocation of existing tenants in 27 buildings. Removal of all existing utility lines and design and construct a new network of underground utilities to minimize visual impact. Redefine time and place for goods deliveries to tenants. Install restroom and concession facilities so that each of the five plaza would serve independently from one another.
